AI website redesign: your site, rebuilt properly
AI website redesign from your current site: Firetend keeps your colours and logo, moves your content over and rebuilds every page. See how it works and costs.
Give Firetend your website's address and choose Keep my look, make it much better. The design agent reads your current site, keeps your colours, logo and feel, and rebuilds every page properly: content moved over, structured data added, every page checked. You see a design brief and a first look in about five minutes, the full site in 15 to 40 minutes, and nothing goes live until you approve it.
What a redesign with Firetend looks like
Most redesigns stall on the same things: someone has to copy the old content across, someone has to decide what the new site should look like, and everyone waits for the next round of changes. Firetend does the copying and the first draft of the design, and you make the decisions.
- Give your current address. Go to Sites → New site, choose a business website and enter your site's address (confirming it's yours, or your client's). Firetend reads it for your services, locations, team and wording, so nothing is retyped.
- Choose how it should look. Keep my look, make it much better keeps your colours, logo and feel. If you'd rather change direction, Like these sites takes up to three sites you like and up to five screenshots, used for ideas only; nothing is copied. Surprise me lets the designer choose.
- Read the brief and the first look. In about five minutes you get a design brief: what the agent learned, what only your business has, the one idea the design is built around, the planned pages, colours, fonts and voice. It also lists facts to confirm, such as two different phone numbers found on your old site. Next to it is a first look at your new home page. Nothing is made up; anything unclear becomes a question.
- Approve the full build. Answer the questions, ask for changes in plain words, then approve. The full build takes 15 to 40 minutes: every page, your content moved over, structured data added, every page checked. You get an email when it's done.
- Give feedback. Write what should change ("less text at the top", "put the fees on the programs page") and the designer makes it. Each round takes a few minutes, and the first three come with the new site.
- Publish on your own domain. Choose Publish site and connect your domain. It becomes the site's main address and every other address redirects to it. See Create your website for each screen.
A real redesign: Fresh Minds Academy
Fresh Minds Academy is a tutoring school in Richmond, BC and Singapore. Their website was built on Google Sites. The design agent read it and built a 49-page site: 21 programs, 18 teacher profiles and their campuses, in their own crest and colours.

We measured both sites with PageSpeed Insights (mobile) on 31 October 2026:
| Before (Google Sites) | After (Firetend) | |
|---|---|---|
| Performance score | 68 | 98 |
| Main content shown (LCP) | 4.6 s | 1.5 s |
The site is live at fresh-minds-academy.firetend.app.
What's included in every redesign
- Your content, moved over. Services, locations, team and wording come from your current site, not from a template's placeholder text.
- Fast pages. Static pages served from Cloudflare. Maps, videos and booking calendars load only when a visitor clicks, so pages stay fast and set no cookies.
- Search and AI answers. Structured data for your business, each location, services, team members, articles and FAQs; a sitemap; titles and descriptions checked for length; a
robots.txtthat allows search and AI answers;/llms.txt; and IndexNow on every publish, so Bing and others hear about changed pages. - Contact forms with an Inbox, spam filtered, and a WhatsApp chat button on every page.
- Up to three other languages, each at its own address, with a language switcher.
- Your files. Download the whole project (Astro and Markdown) or the built site at any time.
After launch, a content agent keeps the site current: articles, refreshed pages, new service or location pages, a site-wide SEO audit. You approve each change before it goes live.
What it costs, compared with an agency
WebFX, a US agency, puts typical website redesigns at $5,000 to $75,000 with an agency and $3,000 to $10,000 with a freelancer (WebFX redesign pricing). Clique Studios, a Chicago agency, quotes $15,000 to $40,000 for a 10-20 page small business site and 8 to 12 weeks to build it (cost, timeline).
Firetend's plans are monthly and include hosting, publishing and the site's first AI build with a few feedback rounds:
| Plan | Price | Sites | AI actions a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | 0 (research, brief and first look only) |
| Starter | $39/mo ($32/mo yearly) | 1 | 150 |
| Growth | $99/mo ($82/mo yearly) | 3 | 500 |
| Agency | $249/mo ($207/mo yearly) | 10 | 1,200 |
The brief and first look are free, so you can see what the redesign will be before paying. There's no free trial, but every plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee. Full details are on pricing, and Website redesign cost compares every option.
Honest limits
A redesign with Firetend suits service businesses: clinics, schools, studios and firms. It's the wrong choice if you need:
- An online shop with product checkout.
- Your own booking system. Firetend embeds booking calendars such as Calendly, Acuity and SimplyBook, but doesn't run one itself.
- Member logins for visitors.
- Drag-and-drop editing. You change the site by clicking text and typing, through forms, or by asking the agents.
One more thing to plan for: Firetend doesn't create redirects from your old site's page addresses to the new ones. If your old pages bring in search traffic, record their addresses before you switch and check each against the new site. Website redesign SEO walks through it, and the website redesign checklist covers the rest of the process.
