Working with the content agent

What the AI content agent can do on your site, how approvals work, and how it keeps to the facts.

The content agent works on your site's content the way a careful SEO writer would: it researches, proposes, waits for your go-ahead, writes, checks its work and saves it to your draft for you to review.

Open it

In the Editor, open the agent panel and type what you want, in your own words. It knows which page you're looking at, so "this page" works.

Some things to ask:

  • "Set up the brand profile from https://yourbusiness.com"
  • "Write a new article about choosing a piano teacher for a seven-year-old"
  • "Refresh this page so it ranks and gets quoted by AI assistants"
  • "Add three FAQs to this page"
  • "Tighten the meta description on this page"

It proposes before it writes

For bigger work (a new article, a refreshed page, a new service page) the agent first replies with a short plan: the search phrase it would target and how many people search for it, the title, the outline, and any facts it needs from you. Nothing is written yet.

Reply go to have it write, or tell it what to change. It then writes, checks the page for search and AI-readiness, test-builds the site, and saves the result to your draft. The preview updates so you can read it before publishing.

It doesn't make things up

  • Facts about your business come only from your brand profile, your own pages or you. If it needs a price, an address or a qualification it doesn't have, it asks.
  • Facts about the world come from pages it actually read, and it links to them.
  • Other sites' pages are used to see what topics people expect to find, never as wording to copy.

Your brand profile

The brand profile (brand.md) is what the agent knows about your business: what you offer, where, your voice and spelling, and the facts it must keep exactly. A new site gets one from the build. Ask the agent to update it whenever something changes ("We now open on Sundays").

Good to know

  • Each request uses actions, shown in the panel: a question uses 1, a new article or a page refresh about 10.
  • The agent saves to the draft; publishing is always your decision.
  • Conversations are kept per site, so you can continue one later.
  • While a design change is open on the Design page, the agent waits until it's published or discarded.
